Ickford has had a local store for many years. The current premises are next to the old Post Office and is the result of a concerted effort to retain the shop and post office when it was purchased for the village by the Ickford Village Shop Association (IVSA). Ickford Village Shop was a previous winner of the Aylesbury Vale Save Award. The Awards seek to identify and promote local activity, which results in a lasting environmental protection/improvement.
